Without these the retirement build landed every one of the rows on a kilogram flow of the right substance and EF's fossil-depletion factors, which live on the energy flows, became unreachable from ecoinvent -- the #257 underestimate by a new road. The numbers are the tables' own, read out of the composed 3.8 table before its retirement. Read off ecoinvent's own LCIA implementation workbooks, one per release: `LCIA Implementation v3.8.xlsx`, `3.9.1`, `3.10.1`, `3.11` and `3.12`, `energy resources: non-renewable` under EF v3.0 and EF v3.1. The characterisation factor for a kilogram flow under an indicator defined per megajoule is the energy content, which is why the workbook answers this question at all. The same number in all five releases' workbooks, so the row's factor needs no release of its own. (#777)"
