  "conversion_comment": "This row already reaches the right flow -- algorithmic matching lands it on `Peat` in MJ on a label match -- but reaches it with the units disagreeing and no factor, so the mapping is right and only the number is missing. That is what this row supplies. 9.76 MJ/kg is the IPCC 2006 Guidelines Vol. 2 Table 1.2 default for peat, whose 95% confidence interval is 7.80 to 12.5 MJ/kg; content varies that widely with moisture, which is why the value is stated with its source rather than derived. Peat is the one carrier here where the IPCC default and the value this project already uses are the same number, because no ecoinvent association for peat ever existed and IPCC is the only source. BAFU's other peat row, in the biotic compartment, now goes to `Peat, in ground` instead, on the same substance as ecoinvent's kilogram of peat. It was left alone here on the grounds that its units already agreed with this flow's, which was true and was never what was wrong with it: it was on the wrong substance (#442). The two BAFU rows therefore land on the two peats EF 3.1 ships, each on the one its compartment names, which is as close to consistent as this list gets until #280 decides whether those two are one substance.\n\nBAFU's biotic peat row now reaches this flow too, with the same conversion: the archive says it is the extraction for `Peat, at mine` under `fuels / peat`, so it is this substance rather than the material peat #442 sent it to. The sentence above about the two BAFU rows landing on the two peats EF ships is therefore no longer what happens, and was never right: BAFU has one peat and it is the fuel. (#450)"
